When you love someone, you work your hardest to support their dreams, do things that bring them joy, and find ways to show you care. As we walked along the Naperville Riverwalk with Laura and Curtis, we could tell by each of their stories and interactions how much they love each other!
The golden light peeked through the trees at the Riverwalk, shining on moments big and small- like the way he held her hand and made faces at her to bring out her smiles. But we could tell that they share those kind of moments together all the time- whether playing games at home, spending time with family, or adventuring together.
They told us the story of how Curtis proposed- telling Laura he had to run out and get the mail but returning with her dog. A total surprise with a note for Laura to read, when Curtis asked her to spend forever with him, it was a definite yes. We talked about summer plans and places they love to visit, how driving a couple hours in the car is the perfect way to start and end a day together.
Laura and Curtis, thanks for spending your Saturday date night in front of the camera, for telling us about the special moments in your relationship, and giving us a peek into engaged life! We are so excited to photograph your December wedding! Hugs, Becky & Kaleb.
Wedding photography is my heartbeat. I love capturing the interactions between the bride and her tribe as they get ready together, the look on a groom’s face when he FINALLY sees his bride for the first time, and the way a dad wraps his arms around his baby girl on her wedding day. Bride and groom portraits make my heart jump and I cry on almost every wedding day.
